Professional Recognition Award

(In Memory of All Deceased NLCMLS Members)
The NLCMLS feels it is important to promote and recognise technologists who are dedicated to their profession and go above and beyond what is normally required to care for their patients. This award is presented to a current member in good standing whose professional conduct and dedication have contributed greatly in the diagnosis and treatment of disease. It can be one incident or a number of incidents that show that this technologist has made a difference in their work place.
The award, consisting of a certificate, will be presented to the member either at the annual NLCMLS congress or at an appropriate time at the technologist's work place. Nominations may be submitted by members at large and each nomination must be accompanied by a citation outlining the incidents for which the nominee should be considered for this award.
Nomination deadline is June 1, of each year.
Nomination forms are available from any member of the executive of the Awards Committee.
